Who We Are
A Creative Home
for Every Person.
At the Center for Performance Arts and Learning, culture and diversity come together to give every student — at every age and skill level — a safe, welcoming space to explore their passions.
Our Story
The First Steps
Don't Need to Be Hard.
Children & adults · All skill levels · Music · Dance · Aerial · Theatre · Art · Language
If you've ever thought about trying your hand at it — or wanted to give your kids the chance to explore their talents in a safe, all-inclusive, trustworthy environment — we built Cen4PAL for you.
Whether it's dance or learning an instrument, singing or drawing, painting or aerial arts, language or expression classes, we have it. Life is full of opportunities. Don't hold back.
At Cen4PAL, age is not a limit. Background is not a limit. Everyone belongs here.
What We Stand For
Our Mission & Values
We exist to make the performing arts accessible, inclusive, and meaningful — for every age, background, and ability level. These are the principles we teach, run our studio, and treat our community by.
Everyone Belongs Here
Culture, diversity, and respect are at the heart of everything we do. Our studio is a safe space for any student who wants to learn, create, and grow — full stop.
Real Instruction, Real Growth
Our instructors are professional artists and educators who care about each student's progress. Every lesson is built around the student — not a template.
A Springboard for the Arts
We're not just a studio — we're a creative home for Metro Detroit. Recitals, performances, workshops, and a community of artists who lift each other up.

The People Behind Cen4PAL
Get to
Know Us.
Cen4PAL was built by people who believe deeply in the power of the arts to transform lives. Our leadership brings together a passion for cultural expression, community building, and creative education.

Cultural Ambassador & Founder
Nandita Bajaj
Nandita is the founder and heart of Cen4PAL. Her love of dance began at age 5 — and according to her mother, she would dance to the sound of dishes clanging in the kitchen. That passion has never stopped.
She built the Center for Performance Arts and Learning from a dream into a thriving creative community serving Metro Detroit. As Cultural Ambassador, Nandita champions the studio's core mission: bringing together culture, diversity, and the arts to create a safe and empowering home for every student who walks through the door.

Business Manager
Gary Elfner
Gary keeps Cen4PAL running smoothly behind the scenes. As Business Manager, he handles the operational and administrative side of the studio so that instructors can focus on what they do best — teaching — and students can focus on what they love.
His work ensures that Cen4PAL is a well-maintained, professionally run studio where every student and instructor feels supported from their very first class onward.
